Hello fellow enthusiasts,
The MILE DE CARS https://pineviewrun.com/mile-de-cars-auto-show is our annual concours style event coupled with varying categories of vehicles to build the event on. This past fall, we held our inaugural event on October 2nd , the weekend before Columbus Weekend. We chose this date carefully to establish a foundation to grow this into a national scale event. What we showcase from a regional attraction standpoint, is the fall foliage on our beautiful landscape in the heart of apple country… both in full swing. What we mold this event into? The sky’s the limit. From the outset, I imagined a Goodwood Festival of Speed https://www.goodwood.com/motorsport/festival-of-speed/ meets Pebble Beach https://pebblebeachconcours.net/ but what we have will be our own unique blend.
For this year’s Mile De Cars, we’ve added Saturday to our schedule. Saturday September 30th – Sunday October 1st. We will incorporate track touring, driving activities along with music into Saturday’s attractions, followed by the Sunday car show lining the track. Anyone interested in helping with the event committee, we could use your help.
Coming up for our snowbirds is the Amelia Island event. THE AMELIA –“Founded in 1996, The Amelia is an award-winning motoring event held the first full weekend of March at The Golf Club of Amelia Island and The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island”. https://www.ameliaconcours.com/ – Anyone who has attended the Amelia or is planning to attend, I’m interested in speaking about the event and your experiences. I may even have a homework assignment if you’re planning to attend.
Thank you,
